2006
David Hough founded Cargo2Go in Manchester, joined by Gabriel Martin. Started in a two-desk office, later hiring a salesman and moving to a larger space for 13 staff.
2007
Establish first franchise in the Manchester Airport area, driving continued growth. Later expanding with Leeds and Wakefield franchises, increasing service levels and resources to meet Yorkshire demand.
2008
After sustained growth Cargo2GO opens a staffed satellite office in Stockton Heath, Warrington.
2014
Due to increased expansion the company purchases and refurbishes a former police station in Cheadle, Stockport, maintaining and improving service and quality through growth period.
2021
Large investment into high end operating systems and tracking facilities. Bringing the company to the forefront of the same day industry
2023
David Hough transitioned ownership to staff via an Employee Ownership Trust. Making Cargo2GO the only UK same day company owned and operated by its employees.
2024
Under new leadership Cargo2GO undergoes rebranding opens dedicated Global department to handle international customer import/export demand.
